A complete redesign of Maharashtra’s official legislative portal focused on transforming a complex, outdated government system into a modern digital experience. The project centered on accessibility, responsive design, structured navigation, and building public trust through a clearer visual and UX system.
Objective
The goal was to simplify the portal’s deep information architecture and create a user-first experience for citizens, journalists, and government officials. The redesign aimed to improve accessibility, establish a scalable design system, and deliver a responsive interface that works seamlessly across devices and languages.
Challenge
The existing platform suffered from overcrowded navigation, inconsistent visual hierarchy, outdated UI patterns, and poor mobile usability. Critical information was difficult to access, language switching created friction, and accessibility support was limited across the experience.
Result
The redesigned platform launched with a fully responsive interface, simplified navigation structure, accessibility-focused interactions, and a unified visual system inspired by Maharashtra’s institutional identity.
